Plasma Welding PAW
We provide high-quality welding services within Pomorskie Voivodship, carried out by certified welders specialising in TIG, MIG/MAG, electrode MMA, plasma PAW and gas welding technology.
We use the whole range of materials: Carbon steels, Stainless steels, Duplex/super Duplex, Nickel alloys, Nickelines, Aluminium, Titanium alloys, Cunifer, 254SMo, Hastelloy.
Descriptions of our methods:
TIG welding
Mostly used with stainless steel, aluminium alloys and nickel alloys. Utilises a non-consumable tungsten electrode in inert gas, such as argon, helium or their mixtures. Designated with 141 code.
MIG 131 welding
Welding with a consumable electrode in inert gas, such as argon or helium. Mostly used in joining aluminium, magnesium, copper, zirconium, and other non-ferrous metals and their alloys. Designated with 131 code.
MAG 135 welding
Welding with a consumable electrode in active gas, such as carbon dioxide, also a mixture with argon. Mostly used in joining structural non-ally steels, high-alloy steels, and low-alloy steels. Designated with 135 code.
Gas welding
Gas welding consists in melting of edges of joined metal items by heating them with the flame of a burning gas – the most common gas being acetylene. This method works great with all kinds of steel and non-ferrous metals. Designated with 311 code.
MMA(SMAW) welding
Arc welding method utilising a consumable metal electrode coated with a fusing agent. This method is used mostly in welding of steel (also stainless steel), but may be as well adopted when welding aluminium, nickel, and copper alloys. Designated with 111 code.
PAW plasma welding
Welding method utilising electric arc focusing. In plasma welding, the arc is produced between non-consumable tungsten electrode and the base material. High temperature enables to carry out a joint in material 3 to 15 mm thick in a single pass, with very beneficial fusion profile and minimum post-welding deformation. It also enables obtaining welding rates 40-80% higher than with the TIG method. Designated with 15 code.
