Plasma Arc Welding (PAW, method 15) uses a concentrated electric arc between a tungsten electrode and the base material. The plasma arc reaches a temperature of about 20,000 °C and is focused into a narrow beam, providing deep penetration, precise control, and minimal material distortion.
